Applicable for Channel UC SIP Trunk users only.
Overview
Sometimes users find that logins created or provided for SIP Trunks do not seem to register on a third-party PBX. This usually occurs because of incorrect configuration on the SIP Trunk platform side or on the third-party PBX itself.
It is best practice to test the trunk on a third-party softphone application like Xlite, Zoiper, Microsip, etc to troubleshoot or diagnose any issue with configuration on the SIP Trunk from the platform (Webadmin) side.
If the test is successful, then it implies that the trunks are ok, trunking credentials are correct and the next step should be to troubleshoot from the PBX's side.

In order to avoid multiple registrations of the trunk, once tested, do not forget to clear the registration of the tested SIP Trunk from Webadmin platform.
