Free upgrade - NBN Fibre Uplift Plan

Free upgrade - NBN Fibre Uplift Plan

Locations on Fibre To The Node (FTTN) or Fibre To The Curb (FTTC) can be upgraded to Fibre To the Premises (FTTP) with an eligible plan.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for free upgrade, the End User Customer must sign up to an eligible high-speed plan for 12 months.

Eligible high-speed plans are:
100/20 Mbps or higher for locations on FTTN
250/25 Mbps or higher for locations on FTTC

Service changes:

A fee of $300 ex-GST will be applicable if the customer chooses to downgrade speed, disconnects, or changes provider within the initial 12-month period of activation.

Appointments:

Someone aged over 18 must be on site during any appointments. The first scoping appointment (prior to installation) is arranged by NBN directly and depending on factors such as installation complexity and your building type, additional infrastructure charges may apply. If this is the case, then the cost of that extra infrastructure must be paid by the customer if they chose to proceed.

Billing:

Partners/End users should cancel the original NBN connection once the FTTP installation goes live to avoid being charged for two services.

Any services from the the original connection should be transferred over to the new one.
